a dynamic modern venue in the heart of the community
Cullompton Venue (also known as Cullompton Community Centre) was built on the site of the former St. Andrew’s Church Hall: the project was conceived, managed and part-funded by the Church as a gift to the local community.
The spectacular £1.7m, 9,250-square feet building boasts the best of contemporary architecture, with a sweeping curved roof, glass walls and an abundance of natural light.
We are deeply grateful for the donations we received for the project from parishioners at St. Andrew’s Church, as well was grants from Devon County Council, and Uffculme Environmental Fund. We have also been awarded more than £700,000 from SWRDA (South West of England Regional Development Agency, with DEFRA as the Managing Authority).
